had a thought the other day....

i hate DQs....we all do.

for next year, i wanted to propose a rule change that if you forget to submit your pick on time, you automatically get the 43rd driver in the starting lineup submitted for you. if you have already started them twice, then you get the 42nd....and so on.

absolute worst case scenario is your driver FINISHES 43rd, but you still walk away with 34 points. 34 is a lot more than 0 and could make a difference at the end of the year.

just ask skidmarks, who DQd at daytona, and with autopick would have started dave blaney (who ironically finished 43rd).

still, instead of being 291 points out right now, he would be 257....

anyway, food for thought....but thought provoking enough for a poll to vote on over on the right side.
